Faema Urania, 1 group, 1957
SOLD OUT - PRICE ON REQUEST
The Faema brand has always dedicated its models to stars, planets and astronomical events. With the Urania model, Faema indulged in creating "spacey" details and a singular conformation of the bodywork. The machine shows some innovative features, including the backlit front panel, proposed with different graphics. This model anticipates what will be the copious use of Plexiglas, a very widespread material in the mid-1950s, also used here for the molded fairing, with a shell shape. The piston operation, nicknamed "arm" in the city of Naples, eliminating the use of steam, ensured exceptional speed of coffee preparation, together with particular ease of maneuvering for the operator.
We currently have two examples of this beautiful machine, so we also offer the choice of front plexiglass, yellow or red as in the photos.
Additionally, the free historical book "Faema Espresso 1945-2010", 400 pages full of information and images.
We ship worldwide, making sure that the machine arrives to its new owner in perfect condition, thanks to a special wooden crate designed to protect it during transport.
